How do you keep the lock rings from loosing up after wrenching them tight?

Muscles I guess? Mine have only come loose once...and I'm pretty sure it's because I just didn't tighten them enough. I haven't had any issues in over 6 months.

Ditto! After initial install... heard some noise and upon taking off front wheels...found the lower perch ring had come loose -- and so did the lower lock ring for rise/drop. After remeasuring to insure correct spring load and drop, use the supplied wrenches to tigthen, then used a large flat-head screwdriver and a mallet to put some extra "Umph" on the lock rings.

So far... no more "rattle".
