Honestly its not that hard to drive a manual. get a free weekend and just go drive. By the end of the weekend you will be an expert double clutch heel- toe down shifting phenom.

Im just going to wait till the summer of 2011 and go to my country. Take my dads manual car to myself ( right handed though) for 3 months and practice a lot.

Right handed? there are not many countries use those. However, there is no different between right handed or left handed. I drove 1993 Land Cruiser (right handed) and it took me 1 week or 2 to get used to left handed.

I agree, but does that mean in countries where they drive onthe left and the driver sits on the right then the majority of people are left handed as opposed to right handed like they are in the us? I mean preferably even though I'd love a right side driver, my right hand would seem better for feeling my way thru gears when focused on driving in a speedy manner.... Or am I rambling

i can change gears with both hands
im right handed :p(most ppl can it just takes a few days/weeks to get adjusted properly and stop reaching fot the door )as for driving in a speedy manner, i suspect i might, no, will miss some gears the 1st time i go out on the track in a LHD vehicle (this is if i just landed in the country)
