Steering wheel badge is pretty sweet..looks like the best option. How is the quality and dealing with the company that sell it....fast shipping?

As some of you might know I have been looking for a way to retrofit the OEM start button with the functionality of an S2000. All the parts came in last week.

Found the subaru button on ebay with trim for 50....trim was a bit chewed up so orderd a new one from subaru...$7 after tax!

Called around town until I got a lead to this little hidden shop that would install the button for me. He said that it took about an hour to figure what the pins did in the back of the button and made a relay for me.

I havent opened it up yet to take a look....just happy it works!

Put the key in and turn to acc and then press start.

Thought I would jazz up the key also with a nice flip key. Feels like a new, new car.

Love how the light comes on for the start button, for some reason it makes the car feel complete now.


Also bought a fake TRD knob from ebay for $12...yeah its fake, but I didnt really have a problem with the stock one....just did it for fun. Curious to see the quality of a $12 shift knob from china.

For those that might be interested.....Every thing is pretty good quality....except the TRD engraving....inside the letters where it is engraved is very rough, the edges are clean though. But if you paint it ...it will be hidden. But for the price its fun. We will see how it stands up over months of shifting.

Got it 4-5days after payment. Quality is ok, texture feels like plastic dipped. It is still the best option so far so I thought its worth trying, so no regret of the purchase

Thanks! Originally I was trying to track down some gold toyota emblems but didn't get to finding some. Plus I wanted the frs badge and would hav to color match it. The only thing I wish I kept was the "scion" part black but it was too hard. Lol. Just trying to do something different instead of rebadging it.
