window off tract?

my window is making a strange sound and was wondering if anyone knows how to check if the window is off the track without taking the door apart? is anyone else having this issue?

My windows make a sound similar to the 4th bar in "In the Hall of the Mountain King" I am told this is normal, what kind of sounds are your windows making?

Welp sounds like a trip to the dealership then. Without a video pretty much what your saying is that 'my window is loud' which means that something would be making a noise it shouldn't which means replacement.

Not much better advice to be found here unless you can offer more details, best of luck.

mine makes a loud clack noise when it goes up or down when you open the door. it doesn't do it all the time but i'd say 75%. I need to find some rubber treatment stuff and see if that helps.

For me, both driver and passenger windows make a clack noise when rolling down (with window fully up and door closed), and it does it almost exclusively when the car has been sitting outside in the sun/heat. I am planning to take the door panel off and do an inspection. I suspect there may be loose screws in the window 'drivetrain' somewhere. Will post pix and findings when able.

My windows screech when they go up and down. Bringing my car to the dealer soon to get a whole handful of quirks fixed. I've seen another thread for this too.

Ill let you know what the dealer says and see if I can find out why and how it happens.

Save a trip to the dealer and all the associated headaches..
Get a tube of Honda Genuine Shin-Etsu Grease. Problem solved
and weatherstrip will stay flexible and not dry out.
Can order it through the dealer or Amazon.. the stuff is best of breed
and will last for years as a little bit goes a long way..

Glass is sticking to the weatherstrip and not dropping in time as the door is opened. Needs some lube on the weather seal. See above note.

Guys, I'm in the middle of writing a DIY to fix exactly this. Compare your good window to your bad. Does the bad one seem to twist a little at the end of its travel? Mine would go up and the top would rotate to the rear as it seated.

It was causing the regulator to bind. Sloppy assembly work at the factory. I thought I would have to open up a slot until I removed the nut and found a factory adjustment slot already there. I'll try to get the DIY finished before this weekend.

Before & After clips. It's really subtle.
