Let us know when you get it. I'm excited for you!

Right back at ya.

If you drive on the left of the road your drivers seat is on the right of the car. This makes the car right hand drive.

I knooooooowwwww... I'm trying to tell you the Japanese drive on the wrong side of the road too. Therefore, the car WAS designed primarily for your market.

...<sigh> Now I'm both sad and excited for you at the same time.

You don't have this spec in UK. Sorry. I haven't checked all the countries, but it is available in Germany and the Netherlands. Personally, I wouldn't buy a BRZ for luxury. There are other cars for this, but of course tastes are different.

nikitopo, fair enough. I've been told, by people who should know these things, that the UK is one of the most demanding markets specification wise in the world.

Not trolling, honestly. Just well-natured banter. I first joked about moving stuff assuming (maybe incorrectly) that we all know these cars were designed first for the RHD markets. LHD is the adaptation. For me, the dead givaway is the sound thing which, assuming it exists for the benefit of the driver, was never moved to the left side.

So, I hope it is now clear that my remark was made not only sarcastically but ironically in a self-deprecating spirit.

...and I'm still excited for you.

I have actually discovered why it will take so long for your car to arrive. It is being delivered by a new, all-wheel drive mode of transport vehicle currently undergoing Beta testing. Caught a spy picture the other day.....looks like I beat Top Gear to the punch this time..............

I suppose I should be grateful. The ETA for mine would be some time early December... I would be lucky if it lands mid-late November.

I waited nearly 8 months for mine in 2012, and I'm in Seattle. Being 10k miles closer doesn't mean anything. I waited, and waited, and waited after ordering one of the first cars made. 86s were delivered to the east coast of the US months before they started arriving regularly to the West coast. It sucks having no control over the delivery process. Good luck!

Sounds about right. I just ordered my BRZ on Saturday, and they said since they made so many 2014 model, there are still so many of them at the lot unsold. So they are not making many 2015 right now and trying to sell the old models first.

My dealer has the opposite problem, they can't seem to keep a BRZ demonstrator on their books! They've gone through 2 this month and the 3rd one is currently not available for test drives as it's provisionally sold.

I told the sales exec if they were to sell me SE Lux at the SE price then I'd buy now but I'm not willing to pay for something I don't want, dealer principle wouldn't play ball so I'm waiting on a factory order.
