Carbon Fiber Repair?

No knowledge on this one... My passenger side fender is chipped near the light marker and also by headlight.... i think someone backed into it or beat on it since they are odd spots. Can i take it to a auto body shop to get repaired or am i screwed... They look like when you drop a beer bottle and it does not break looks chipped and slight cracks...Feels rough on the 2 edges but sturdy still. Index finger length for dmg on both afflicted areas....

If it's just a scratch, it'll buff out. if it's crushed, then you need to replace the fender.

Carbon fiber is a cloth that's impregnated with resin. It is not malleable. If the resin is crushed, cracked, then you can't repair it. Since it's not structural, you could always put some more resin on it and a sheet of fiberglass to "fix" it, but you'll probably want to paint over the entire thing, negating both cosmetic and weight savings.
