Marloon... the BRZ told me to give you this message.

BRZ: Marloon, you do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your ambition. Join me, and I will complete your desire for a great corner cutting car. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to your local race track.
I am the car you want. Search your feelings. You know it to be true.

Yeah, it would be cool if it was an uncommon sight on the roads, but at the same time when you see another one it's like awwwwww yeahhhh! And like someone mentioned earlier, it indicates the car is successful and will drive manufacturers to compete.
Yeah too bad it will be a common sight - especially where I live. Here in Richmond, BC we have a TON of VERY WEALTHY asians - seeing an M3 is more common than seeing an old 01 celica - there are already so many SLS AMGs running around - that car is very sexy. LOL

Heck, my local college parking lot is like a rare import meetup every day.

and of course we have this news story - Alleged B.C. street race with $2M in luxury cars

just to sum it up, The impounded cars were...

2007 Ferrari 599
2010 Lamborghini Gallardo
2010 Lamborghini Gallardo
2009 Lamborghini Gallardo
2009 Audi R8
2012 Nissan GT-R
2010 Nissan GT-R
2010 Nissan GT-R
2010 Maserati Turismo
2010 Maserati Turismo
2011 Mercedes SL63
2011 Mercedes SLS
2005 Aston Martin DB9

all driven by 20 year old new drivers.

Thats cool though, you are entitled to your opinion. I get a lot of mixed remarks about how the miata looks, its a very polarizing car and I wouldnt have it any other way.
LOL i was just going to say that about the FD3S. LOL.

talk about an awkward moment.

Here's an awkward story... I saw an FR-S pull into the dealership lot and it was just me and this other guy checking it out. He was like, "how much is this car?" I said, "oh you know, it's cheap! Just under 26K in Canada". And then I said, "Being so cheap, who's going to buy that really ugly TC. They really fuggly-ed (F***ing ugly) that car up when they redesigned it." And he was like, "oh..." And I asked what he drove and it turns out to be a 2012 TC.

Yeah I am on the fence with either cars. I like the HIDs on the BRZ. I like the LED accents.

There's no denying that there will be a lot of hype-based buyers that just want to be first-on-the-block with the new toy. Those types will probably move on to whatever the next new hype car is.

For those of us that are honestly interested because of the driving experience, it won't matter.

I honestly believe if Toyota sees the crazy amount of demand for this car and sales are stellar, they would totally bring it back.

BTW they did file for trademark registration on the name "Supra" in July 2010.

Still buying a FR-S though. It will be my "trainer" car lol.

The same as everyone else feels when everything gets upgraded? Every year every car gets some sort of upgrades. It's like the people who won't buy an iPhone 5 because the iPhone 5S will be out next year. Buy the damn car if you like it. Make it YOURS and who gives a (expletive) if a new one comes out, it will just be more OEM crap that I will probably upgrade anyway. My 08 FJ Cruiser doesn't have all the upgrades a 2012 does, but I damn sure love mine more than getting a brand new one. Too much love, hard work, blood and sweat have gone into it.
