I'd also like some negotiation tips. I actually live in Evanston, so that will likely be where I purchase the vehicle from.

I'm at work right now and it's kind of a long type. I'll write it out tomorrow. But my negotiating only applies to a series.blue. I didn't negotiate about limited or premium too much

So I did forget, now I saw this and I'll write it out.
The first e-mails I sent out to the dealers I just asked for the price, and most got back within the 29900-31000 range. Then I went on cars.com and looked for all the series.blue prices in the U.S. and the lowest was at Gary lang for 27997. I asked him to drop it to 27500 and I'd come in to get it. When I came in, he slapped a fee on top (destination) and started bsing me about my financing and credit score (I'm 763 - can't tell me my score is bad).
I walked out on him and called Evanston right away - they price matched me at 27500 and also Autobarn of Countryside offered the same price, but Evanston was closer to me.

If I were you I'd shoot Countryside and Evanston an e-mail saying you are offering 27,500 (if that price is acceptable for you) and you'll come pick it up on (insert day here).

I doubt they'll go much lower, but doesn't hurt to try.

My OTD was something close to 30k.

When I bought this current wrx, I walked in with a check that was already made out to them with how much I was going to pay.

that worked.
:-D

Otherwise, haggling is just about them playing a game with you. Just have a max number you're willing to pay, and stay under it. If they're not willing or able, then just walk away.
