Honestly let the man do his thing, constructive critisim is natural but flaming? When did this community steep this low?

Modifying your car is like fashion, shit gets out of style or fads out but it's your baby/toy. Do your thing.

It is like a fashion, this community strongly dislikes this particular fashion and does not want to be associated with it. If OP wants tribal graphics and underglow kits, the civic forums would be happy to take him, or maybe some Fast and the Furious forums, idk.

I don't know about you, but I cringe when I see these 86's modded with this "fashion". Not because they are ugly (which it is), but because this is a young car that's reputation is still being molded, and every single person who 'rices' their 86 out, is pushing that reputation closer and closer to that of a civic. Don't get me wrong--there are some beautiful civics out there, but I think we can all agree that the car itself is synonymous with rice and poor modding taste.

It's their car, they can do what they want, but those of us who don't want to be associated with it can say what we want.

Thats more realistic than the pictures I seen and the unrealistic dream statement of "Panty Dropper" Glad your train of thought has improved... keep up the good work!

I agree, but I would also agree that criticism should be constructive and honest, and unrealistic dreams are game for assassination, and after seeing the graphic art work, ground effect lighting, and the rear wing along with the "Panty Dropper" comment, now feel there should be a board of realistic car enthusiast to approve car modifications. I reiterate, Just because you can write a check for an FR S or BRZ, does not mean you should own one...

I'm only saying this for the love of the frs/brz/gt86 owners and car culture.
IMO this is what you should do if you want people to not flame you:

-realize youre not driving an aventador and you dont have an aventador.
-get rid of the aventador tailights, dont even bother with the lambo doors. You dont have an aventador.
-dont go to 19" rims since youll just ruin handling..go 18's and go wide if youre actually doing the widebody.
- remove those vinyl tribal stickers from your car, it looks so tacky.
-get rid of the red glow lights...because...glowlights....

last thing
-you dont have an aventador.

Lol, everyone is taking things WAY too seriously.
This is the joy of someone else buying their own car. They can do what they want to/with it.

It's like a glimpse of what's to come, imagine how bad it will be once these are cheap and kids fresh on the roads can get them.

Op you're free to do what you want with your car and I'm free to say stop, just stop and re-evaluate your life that looks like shit.
