Heh, it washed off pretty well. Minus what had baked on...ick.

They're appraising the damage today.

Meanwhile, Battle Mode is working out alright for me. Mishimoto liked it enough to share it :P

That's pretty clean underneath. Not in terms of dirt and deer gibs, but nicely done.

A lot better to look at than my project as of late.

Finally got the satisfaction survey from Scion for my recent service visits.

Somehow doubt they're gonna like what I had to say.

Fun fact - I submitted a very honest satisfaction survey that did not paint the dealer in the best of light. I never received another survey in subsequent visits.

Funny how that worked out.

Which one if you don't mind me asking? My contempt lies with McGeorge service.

Also I'm still poking around learning about the vortech kit. Tryibg to decide if I want to go that route or say F it and throw a 5.1 FD in and basically call it a day.

Priority. I've been there for service three or four times, and they've consistently sucked. I haven't heard great things about McGeorge service either. I'm willing to give Haley a try when I go in for the messed up window weatherstripping, but even they have bad reviews. Do all Toyota dealerships suck?

Also - Vortech + 4.55 gears That was my plan at least.

Oh fun. I had an issue with the trim under the window where the door meets the glass, explained it pretty explicitly, even showed it to the rep and later to the tech. They damn near replaced everything on the door other than the actual offending piece. Try to show a tech if you can I guess.

If Haley ends up sucking I guess that only leaves Mechanicsville?

Yeah SC + ~4.55 would be really nice. 5.1 might be overkill for a SC but I think would be fine for NA. One advantage of the stupidly tall 6th gear in the AT is even with a 5.1 FD it is still taller, albeit not by much, than 6th in the MT. You could have ridiculously close ratios down low and still have factory cruising experience.
