I spoke with my dealer a few minutes ago and he said the ship wasn't even due into port until 5/9 in California. Hmm....lots of rumors floating around and not sure who to believe in.

The standard allocation for June 1 release, those are on the way to LA. The First 86 cars have been assigned and First 86 dealers have been notified to put an "event" together for the vehicle delivery. The only dealers that should have a full 17-digit VIN are those that are receiving their First 86 cars this coming week. Dealers receiving the week after will only have the temporary 8-digit VIN.

Some dealers outside of California have received their "on the boat" lists, while we are supposed to get our allocations this week. From there, we begin assigning our pre-orders and contacting them with the approx. ETA.

I've attached the ETAs just for review, of course, I've blacked out the VIN for privacy reasons.

I think the dealer may have been pulling my leg as to the 5/9 date as he knows I will be on vacation from May 3 -11. He did mention something about photo ops.

He's pretty bad. Made various promises to keep me updated, contact me, email me, call me, let me know when preordering starts, guaranteeing that I get on a list, etc. And of course, he didnt. Booo.
