What boost level you go with? Assume after seeing your Dyno you changed clutch as well?

Also curious about your headers, did you have them spray coated or come that way? Maybe it's just the pic...

I am running 271 rwhp @ 220 torque. on 10 psi, 93 tune, my numbers are lower than usual because I am extremely limited by the stock injectors (90% max cycle currently). With an injector upgrade I could easily make my desired HP numbers at ~330. I have an AT car, it mentioned it at the beginning so no clutch. Just stock Auto trans. The headers, down pipe, and up pipe to the turbo were sent out to get coated. Although they are entirely in heat wrap.

I'll outright ask the dumb question but the curious one. Being this design really is different being a BW, how is the sound in cabin? I know its a moot point but always cool to not only feel but hear the money going to work.

It is awesome, you hear the spool and also pressure release. I was wondering the same thing, having there be no BOV, but you still hear it. Just not as loud as a car with one. Extremely satisfying!

Indeed the AT actually sucks about 10whp more than the manual. I cant remember where i read that but it was definitely on this forum somewhere.

The blow off valve is actually integrated into the turbo. I have a perrin exhaust which is very quiet and I can actually start to hear the turbo spool up at around 3k rpm with the windows up.

The only problems I've had with the kit are clearance issues mostly with piping to the intake manifold touching the hood and the clamps on the downpipe.

Hey guys, just a quick update.

The car is currently being "stored" for winter, as I live in the Chicago area. I haven't been barely driving the car, only once or twice a month when the streets are dry!

I have about 1000 miles on the turbo now, and everything is running great still, besides the tune being a tad bit too rich when under boost. The exhaust spits black sut occasionally.

I took it on an 2 hour + drive all highway and the performance was great and everything ran cool.

Otherwise it's just been driving around locally, no leaks or other known problems at this point. The colder weather has been a lot of fun.

Coming this Spring I will be getting bigger injectors and a retune to make around 325 rwhp and to try to get the richness fixed as well.

Maybe even a flex fuel kit for e85?

Any other questions?

Quick update!

I have about 1500 miles on the kit, with no problems besides it running a bit too rich under boost. I am getting ready to go back to P&L to get tuning done with Prime Motorings Flex Fuel Kit and Deatschwerks 900cc injectors. I will be tuning for E, and looking to run about 340 to the wheels.

Good to hear you're still enjoying the kit. I absolutely love this car with the extra HP, and am very satisfied with the kit. I may consider upgraded injectors later this year, but for now I'm concentrating on my audio upgrade.
