I paid $1700 less than MSRP (not for a 1.0); I didn't think I would see a price lower than that and I jumped at the chance.

Ah, that's interesting. I always thought it means paying MSRP. Thanks for clarifying.

In my case, they gave me a special "FRS club discount" for being in the Colorado FRS Facebook group.

Just noticed the Location in your profile!
Are you like, the only FRS in Windsor!?
I work in Windsor two days a week and have NEVER even glimpsed another one there.

I resisted and passed up on a slightly used firestorm for little less than 20k to put my money on a rs1. Anyone can repaint their car, but a quality paint job can easily cost 4-5k I think? Plus it lowers the value of the car. So if you want a yellow frs, getting the rs1 may still be the way to go?

USA Sticker (Automatic)

Here is the sticker on an Automatic.

I still cant get over that $250 over sticker price on a manual...Should I just bite the bullet and just pay for that $250 mark up. They said the Car will be here on this Sat. OR should I look for another one from another dealership? I talked to one actually they do Sticker but they don't have until a few more weeks but the one below is available now.

I would jump the gun on an FRS RS 1.0 Manual. If they had one, I would buy it on the spot with the limited availability that they are advertising.

The one I put in deposit actually doing the mark up...kind of like they see a demand so they put mark up on, they dont worry it wont sell. This is what I think they do that to me/ anyone go to their dealership.

I would nicely sit down and talk them out of it. Let them know that you'd be willing to submit a positive review for the dealer or salesperson. Let them know that you will take the car, however the $250 over MSRP will leave a bitter feeling within the loyal customer you are to them. Hopefully they'll understand and remove it for you since they're still making some money.

Also, keep your eyes open and don't let them take advantage of you in finance. Come prepared with your competitive pre-approved rate and let them try to beat that. Calculate everything on an auto loan calculator before signing... After that, I shall wish you congrats as a new RS 1.0 owner.

I know what you mean, I see that a lot and dislike it as we'll.

Never use dealer finance options if you can help it. Even the crappiest credit union will give you a better loan. My credit union got me 2% lower then the dealer. Scion didn't even try to beat it.
