The mount is cradleless, so that means it uses a very strong magnet that grabs a metal plate you're supposed to stick to your phone. Because I didn't want to stick the plate to the outside of my phone I bought a super slim case and stuck the metal plate inside of it so you can't see the plate from the outside of the phone. Incipio Feather for Lumia 1520. Really though you could use any case. I chose the feather because it was a little more durable and I got a good deal on it at the time.

I just ordered this - so we'll see how it works out. The video I watched shows it comes with some metal wafers that go inside the case. So should be able to use the case I already have.

Yep, the magnet is pretty strong so no matter the thickness of your case it should work.

6 is optimal large for a phone i think.

My personal iPhone 5 and work 5S fit in the little cubby in front of the shifter perfectly. My 6 got stuck behind the ledge when I tried to put it in there. Driving for work yesterday, I found that if I leave my work 5S behind the ledge, the 6 slides in and out (as it sits above the ledge) without an issue. It doesn't help you 6+ guys, but it was somewhat of a fix for my 6.

It is related to charging your phone. The electrical flow sets off the sensor (which is not based on weight). Mine only does it when charging. If I lean the phone on the bottom seat bolster so that the USB port is not on the seat bottom, it doesn't do it even when charging.

When I had the dealer update my ecu I told them to turn off the passenger seatbelt sensor beep. Best solution if you can do it.
