yeah that was me, thanks.......do u recommend a cycling of the ignition after the flash? with like 20, sec intervals...to adapt the sitting TPS levels? or just let it idle for a couple minutes, before driving?

I usually let it idle for 10-15 minutes every time i reflash.

I recommend letting it idle for 45 seconds or so after a flash process. If you start driving off right away, the VVT system will be disabled temporarily and you will notice a pretty dramatic power loss until it resumes operation

As I understand it there's nothing to adapt to, it simply needs 30-60sec to run a self-check diagnostic on itself then its good to go. I've always just opened up the logging screen and waited for the number to start fluctuating -- it'll be at 0 while it's doing the check.

That's a very good approach to. When tuning on the dyno, I do the same thing after every write. I wait for the VVT intake value to move form 0 before I start running the car

Well.....very impressed with the Stage 1 93oct tune! It's pretty wild how much quieter the car idles and runs. much smother revs and throttle response. Not to mention coupled with my Perrin CAI and catback....a louder throatier (not a word lol) sound at 4500rpm and up. I'm still curious to know weither my AFR is running like it should with the CAI installed. I was watching the numbers and they didn't seem to crazy..plus the LT fuel trim was staying below 10 for the most part. I would stream some data for you guys , but im not sure how to do that yet. So far though....great product.

Incase anyone was still wondering, I had my car dynod after loading 1.59 map

I was at 179.7 on dyno dynamics on a hot day..

Random note, I've had the new 93 tune on my car since it was released. I noticed it had changed, idle was higher and car was louder again, so I reflashed the tune. Car was very different, quiet again, lowered idle etc. after the flash of the same tune it had been running. Is this because our ECU learns and adapts to the tune it slowly went back to over the past month?

Did you mean exhaust? The exhaust AVCS is always the final bit to become active, the intake is normally active straight away in my experience.

Just an FYI for some, the exhaust AVCS only comes active after a other certain conditions are met. If you flash a cold engine, the calibration may be done after a minute but the AVCS may still be inactive. You also have to be stationary before it will start working, usually a 1 minute drive and then stopping sorts it out.
