Eric, I put in my order for the race upgrade parts on the 13th though ft86speedfactory. I tried emailing them to find out an eta but no reply. Would you happen to know an eta for me by any chance?

The ft86speedfactory guys might be at 86fest so I'd expect delays in communication.

Does an aftermarket oil cap do the same thing as an aftermarket radiator cap?(to increase the boiling point? )

took my car to Tail of The Dragon on Sept. 13th while it was raining... got some pictures of the splitter in action... It was miserable weather but i still had fun on my Super Sports

FT86 SpeedFactory Splitter Race Upgrade and Driveway Labs Type 1 diffuser track review:
@enivid and @Fett4Real gave me a hand installing the splitter and diffuser on Friday in preparation for our track weekend at Miller Motorsports Park. The included installation instructions are great so I won't elaborate on that other than make sure you have a good drill and carbide or cobalt bits to go through the crash support when you install the race upgrade.

Prior to the splitter and diffuser install, the car used to understeer at the track. Brake too late into a corner and I was scrubbing and not turning. When I needed to tighten up the corner, the car would not rotate in.

With the splitter and diffuser, the car is perfectly balanced. I was extremely impressed with how the parts made just the right corrections to the car's balance. The front end was more planted and responsive and the rear felt glued to the road. When at the limit, the car felt like it would rotate around the center and was extremely predictable. Between the aero upgrades and the RC-1s, I had complete confidence in the car and its reactions to input.

I combined the aero upgrades with some Maxxis RC-1s and the increased grip and improved aero balance allowed me to turn some impressive lap times.

The race splitter and diffuser are a perfect setup for an NA car. After riding with @enivid, I'm sure his SC car could benefit as well, although his car felt great as it is. I don't believe that a wing would be needed with this setup unless the car was much higher hp.
