What is the meaning of "Paint Protection: Apply 3M Paint Protection Film" under the "Break-in Period" heading? Does that just mean that Subaru is recommending that those who want to install a paint protection film go ahead and do so within the break-in period?

I stopped by Downtown Subaru in Nashville, TN today. The salesman there told me that they are only getting 3 and all have been ordered already. He also stated that they're not taking any more orders until November.

I've reached out to other dealers in the area and will post back if I find out more.

@dorkymork -- Congrats on beating me to the punch. The Troncalli guys (Cumming, GA) told me that they had already filled their 3 pre-orders, and that they'll call/e-mail me if the allocations change or when the next round of allocations is made.

Subaru of Kennesaw (Georgia) has twelve preorders (I am not one) and nearly forty people on a list waiting beyond that. I would not mind buying one but the only option is to take one that was preordered where the original buyer decided not to wait. Which would mean no choice of color or trim level. Meaning, I will wait it out unless another car strikes my fancy.

Want me to give you Mikes number up at the dealership I ordered? We have one left its in Franklin, TN but they are good guys. Some one from GA just got the second one
