I had to ZIP the original file that they sent (DB6.rar) so that it can be attached to the forum. You'll have to unzip, then unrar it.

I haven't tested this myself yet... been too busy putting my car back together . I also have their blessing to pass this along to the community.
So if there is a problem we should be able to revert by going to the old profile, right?

If that is the case then I will give this a try this weekend.

So I finally got some usable data on my Solo DL yesterday.

One thing I noticed is that when I push on the brake pedal more than a light squeeze, the Clutch Switch indicates that the clutch is being pushed.

I'm guessing that there is some adjustment that can be made here, but has anyone else seen this?

Cheers,

Cheers,
I've noticed that value triggering on my car randomly (when I am not using it). I suspect that it is just a hair triggered microswitch meant mostly to keep people from using their starter to bump into a wall. I could be wrong of course...

Here's the proof that I'm not mental. Watch how many times the "CLUTCH" light flashes. I only used it once on course to shift to 2nd.

are you 100% sure your foot isn't slightly resting on the clutch pedal during those times?

my clutch reading is also rather random, but I figure that's what Is happening. but since the reading is a 1/0 I've since turned the sampling for it off.

I'm 1000% sure.

I've since started working on a Toyota for ChumpCar / LeMons racing. It works very similarly, except with vacuum switches. The clutch pedal and brake pedal both have a vacuum switch. These are connected together with a T fitting, which then goes into the firewall to connect to the engine vacuum.

Knowing what I know about Toyota and their tendency to not change things, they are probably using the same electrical circuit on our cars to detect either brake or clutch, much like the above vacuum circuit.

I'm probably just going to turn it off also. Thanks for looking though.

I was going to use the beta file. However, when I installed the new release of Race Studio 2 it already appears to have the update. After loading a new FR-S config to the Solo the ETC reading is higher than it was before. So there doesn't appear to be a reason to load the beta files any more to fix the ECT reading.

Just got the Aim SmartyCam HD v2 and all is working fine except I don't see a data file on the SD card and I don't see a setting to enable/disable saving the data to the card.

Anyone know the trick to get the Solo DL data to be stored on the SmartyCam's SD card?

Thx
