Figured I'd post this here instead of the Calabogie thread.

A blazing 3:59:87 in the pouring rain. Enjoy watching my wipers!

@Slick can you make the numbers for me in red?

Also yes very slippery and a good 360 for me in the last session haha like driving on ice all day. Also to all other lapping day drivers after sitting in a session with Simon I noticed how much the traction control was doing. For anyone using the traction control while lapping I would suggest stopping as it is really counter productive to learning to drive and will definately develop bad habits. Anyone worried about it if you start of slow and work your way up you won't have any problems!

I'll just need to attend your autocross or make my own skid pad to learn how to counter and avoid tank slapping ! Still, thanks for your pointers, hopefully my breaking didn't scare you !

So I'm in Lake George.
Weirs Beach, Laconia, and Portland today. Anybody ever been to Portland? Not sure if sleeping there or North Conway.
Tomorrow, North Conway and Mount Washington

Need to pick up a Go Pro along the way someplace

Hey Andre, how did you like the R-S3s in the rain (compared to the Contis)?

Just find a bestbuy or something and BUY one. They'll be cheaper there anyway don't claim it
Any speeding tickets so far using your friends services for route planning?
You have a camera at least ? Early for the trees to turn I guess though
Safe travels!

They were better than I expected. I had to hunt and find where the grip was, but was a good exercise in modifying your line due to the weather. So I was reasonably pleased with their performance especially since they are running at about or less than half tread right now.

If I had the Contis on, would've been so much more grip, it is probably one of the best rain tires out there for the track. And they also work well when it gets a bit colder out.

Luckily it was still warm enough so was able to keep some grip with the Hankooks.

I'm actually in A Best buy in New Hampshire right now buying one no sales tax ftw.
They seem to be out of suction mounts though

I've been using my iPhone so far. No tickets. I think I only saw one cop in all of NY.
Vermont is beautiful.
