You want to know why I won? Toyota/Scion specifically wanted people that (and I quote Jack Hollis): "Have never owned a Toyota product and would never normally consider one." If I havent made it abundantly clear before I will try to do that now: I do not care for brands/labels/etc in cars. I care about performance and price. The Toyota 86 is one of the leading price:performance cars in the world right now, and that is precisely why I am buying one. |

Yeah, the only badge I don't care for is the FR-S badge on the back. But since there are probably holes or something behind it, I won't be removing it.

All this hostility over a badge. Do what you want with YOUR car and enjoy it.
Personally, I would convert everything. Front, rear, wheel emblems, steering wheel, headlights, and removing FR-S emblem. It would be my car, if you don't like it, don't do it to yours. Bristecom the Scion badge would have holes behind it, the FR-S most likely is just stuck on with some adhesive. |

I think all the waiting on the car has drove us to madness. I do feel a bit crazier than usual.

Yes, you have made it abundantly clear in your first post. You don't care about brand/labels/etc in cars? I call that total BS. Why? Here's your post: Quote:
Also last sentence wasn't a sarcasm. If it was, I would of put "lol" at the end (like second paragraph). I congrats you for buying SCION FR-S instead of Subaru BRZ. |

Yeah, that'd make sense but I'd be scared to take it off. I'd probably endup denting or damaging the paint.

Nah, IF you want to do it, just use some "Goo Gone". It removes adhesives without damaging the paint as long as you don't scrape it off lol. That's what I will probably do. Ultimately it's your call

Thought about it just because i never thought i would end up owning a scion. LOL seriously i wont take it off since my car will be built for track racing and i dont think a toyota badge will give me handling or hp lol but if i was buying it as a street ride i would probably consider it.
