Full on drift cars run a separate caliper with a hydraulic system attached to what looks to be just an extended e-brake handle. The only thing in common it has with a real e-brake is that it's attached to the rear wheels and it's actuated with your hand.
Pedal dance turns off all the driver's aids, so if you're new to driving, DON'T DO IT. If you're on a controlled course and have some instruction it's great, but I'd rather not hear about someone wrecking their car on the street

Yep, drums. The reason that your rear rotors are extend out in the center is because your parking brake shoes and mechanism are inside there. The flat outer part is for the regular pads. Conversely that is why the front rotors are not as deep on the hub mount face as they don't have all the extra parts inside.

Thinking whole brake drums I bet. As can be seen in the picture the e brak pads are very thin and not really meant to be used when the vehicle is moving (unless an emergency of course). They will wear very quickly if used for actual braking or when drifting. Not saying they can't be used just need to be aware that you are using them up fast and they ain't cheap!
