Looking at mounting it in the heated seat button tray, but I have to relocate the heated seat buttons and build a bracket for the controller.

Cool idea. I was considering dismantling it and building it into the center console change tray.

I wanted to keep it somewhat together in case I ever had to send it in for warranty or decided to get a different management system. That'd be a cool idea for the center console though.

A:
Penskes are custom built for Ft86 and cost over $9k! Hardly a reasonable comparison.. If you buy those, you are intending your car to be a full on race car. Street cars rarely run on Penskes. Race cars…all the time but their intended use is one thing: fast lap time. Our system does a lot more than that and is intended for those people who want performance but have to live with their cars on the street everyday.. Will it beat them on the track? Doubtful but I’ll take air when trying to get into my steep driveway or going over a speedbump!
From Penske website;

Penske Racing Shocks are also used by aftermarket powerhouses as a performance upgrade to go along with lowered ride heights, stiffer springs, and more horsepower. In many instances, a Penske Racing Shock is chosen because its external adjustments allow it to be a full race quality damper that will perform on track days but still retain a good ride quality for daily drives and highways. We supply many of the top aftermarket chassis specialists. A high quality suspension is no longer specific to racing, street enthusiasts are feeling the benefits of Penske Shock technology.

Well, I have the stock wheels on the front. At least they don't rub.
That'll work until I figure out what I want to do.

I reset the fronts to 80mm thread showing at the bottom and the rears to 40mm thread showing.

I think I have about 1/2" of space between the tire and bag.

Still waiting for the mounts to show up and I still have a small leak around the tank. Also need to clean up the wiring under the hood.

I picked up a couple of inline fuses that use the Low Profile Mini fuses...cuz PITA. And the previously mentioned LP Mini fuse tap.

Idk if you were mounting your controller still, but here's a little cell phone pic from my build thread (in my sig):

and the trunk setup. It's not really "show" yet - I'll revisit everything and hardline it probably next year. Just wanted to get a good idea of how everything would be layed out first.

You are my new hero. I love your setup.
When you get a chance can you provide more detail? Please IM me if that's a better option.

Thanks

Thanks. I am really happy with the way it turned out. Better than the original idea of just having it in the arm rest cubby

So how did you end up mounting that. I was playing with it over the weekend and thinking of doing something similar since I never use that space for anything and don't have heated seats.

It's a close fit, but there's enough gap to where you need to build a custom bracket to ensure that it doesn't fall through the panel if you press on it too hard. And since I had heated seats, had to relocate the buttons.

Did you cut the bottom out of it to get it to mount flush?
