Can you take some pictures of your tailights off during the day? I haven't been able to find any online. Also, what color combo is it?

This is an older photo of the car when I didn't have the matching rear bumper light. The lights are not powered on in this day shot. Color combo is red housing/clear lenses

New here? Come say hi =)
Hello everyone,
Just picked up my Crawford street edition #007 BRZ a few weeks back. Just saying hi and I can't wait to start modding. How I came to get the brz you ask? Some stupid chic turned into my 08 STI and wreaked it on Labor Day. So I plan on swapping some stuff from the sti to the brz. It's hard going from a 318whp beast to this, but be that as it may, I love the way the brz handles. ![]() OH!!! You can also check out the once sti build thread on socalsubies. Just look for 08STiGuy

Finally bought a BRZ...
Well after lusting over a BRZ for the past 4 months I finally bit the bullet so to speak and bought one.
A used 2014 Silver BRZ Limited 6MT. with only 4900 miles on it I got it for $21250 plus shipping and tax for a total of $23115.00, hopefully it will get here soon so I can post up some pics. Already ordered for it: Toyota "Fit" Backup Camera Anthrocite Gray Plasti Dip Wheel kit (I know, I know.. I just want to see what it looks like before I make the color change permenant) Genuine Toyota GT86 Armrest from England New mirror radar detector mount and harness Cant wait for it to get here! |

New to the forums and to the BRZ!
Decided to trade in my 2007 335i (Started to have lots of issues) for a new Series.Blue BRZ the other day!!
Pretty excited about the new car and I'm constantly finding myself making excuses to drive somewhere. Not going over 4k RPM is killing me however. Sorry for the low quality pictures, just took them quickly this morning before work. ![]()

The Honeymoon
Picked up my 2014 Sterling Silver Metalic BRZ Limited on Tuesday. I was ready for a new car (2 seat), but I wasn't sure that I could live with the compromises of trading away my beloved 2013 VW Golf R for the BRZ.
However, after driving the BRZ combined with the 0% interest rate, and the trade value of my Golf R, i decided to take the plunge. Unlike most people, I love going 12 rounds with the dealer to get a good deal. Although, after seeing some other forum members paying as low as $23k, I have to admit to being a little perplexed. ![]() My car: $26,499.00 (MSRP was $29,009) 2014 Limited 6spd Manual Package #2C 53 miles after being delivered from a sister dealership My R's trade value was $28,700. In Maryland, you only have to pay tax on the difference between the cost of the new vehicle and the value of the trade. In my situation, that meant I did not have to pay any taxes. Only other charges were Title, registration and document fee (i know, doc fees are negotiable). Did i mention 0% financing!!! ![]() What I love… seats, handling, sporty look/shape, size, interior materials/fabric, available aftermarket upgrades, exterior lighting, short throw shifting, silver color, oil change in 10 minutes, rear wheel drive, somewhat classic sports car look (Bond, James Bond) What I have to get used to… - no AWD, less power, less torque (although, I think 200hp is adequate for this chassis) - Audio/SAT/NAV, not horrible, but why no buttons??? - i can't fit my road bike inside ![]() - gauges seem a bit dated red and orange LED readout and digital clock ![]() - engaging first gear (i have been driving manual for more than 30 years, but this one is challenging) This is our 4th Subaru (two 2010 Forester XT, current wife's 2013 Outback Limited/SAP). I will post photos of the VW and BRZ when I have a chance. Upgrades… Probably limited to suspension (a bit lower), and a set of summer wheels. I guess that's all for now. I think I'm in for the long haul! |
