Hey, if it makes you happy that's all that matters. Not many people ever guessed my vanity plate "BRNRBR" stood for "Burn Rubber". Stupid MA plates with only 6 digits!!!

In the states where I have lived you can transfer a plate from one car to the next, so you get the custom plate for your current car and transfer it to the new car. Of course, to do that you have to be selling/trading your current car in at the same time you are buying the new one.

"BRZ" is still available in Mass; I might get it. I was also thinking about "BRZ86", "ZENITH" or "BOXR86"

I always wanted a license plate that read: I11I1II1 or something like that so if somebody ever took my license plate down and got one letter or number wrong they'd be screwed! But considering there will only be a handful of BRZ's in my city... probably won't matter too much! :P

In California you can get a license plate without a car or VIN. Just pay transfer later or even keep it as is. Its yours as long as you pay 'holding' fee.

Damn, you can even buy a plate as a gift and have it shipped to any location

Sweet! Wish I could do that. In Georgia, you can't even see in advance what is available without going to the tag office. So, stand in line for 4 hours only to find the one you want is taken.

Damn... Would be awesome to be able to get a plate now.... But I'm not selling my current car, and PA requires you to already own the car and transfer a new plate.

That Texas plate is amazing! PA is blah.... Blue strip at top, white center, and yellow strip at bottom... Just like our IDs and Driver Licenses. And the plates are shimmery? Lol... Replaced our old standard plates of dark blue with dark yellow outline and lettering....

The old D.A.R.E. plates were all blak, with red and white lettering, but now it's the standard PA style with the DARE emblem..... Weak.

Other vanity plates? Beavers, tigers, or trains..

I'd use my old ones, but they're a little rusty and bent. Leaves me with no choice but to get a sports team one, which are still white.

Congrats on the new plate though!
You know what's really funny? That's the same color OH uses for repeat DUI offenders.

At least your plate isn't "Clipart Vomit" like ours are now.

That pretty much describes the new Georgia tag going into production in the fall:

Below is an attached image of the plate I think repeat DUI offenders should have.
