Thinking about getting the Raceseng Ashiko shift knob and reverse lock out. Anyone here have any experience with that?

Installed custom flossy knob.
And yes, I know the shift pattern doesn't match reality.
It was worth it, for me. It's not like I ever need the pattern anyway

Bought some goodies this weekend.

Torque wrench on sale at sears for 40 bucks

breaker bar with sockets $30 Bucks

ANNDDDD a Perrin Crank pulley from a fellow forum member for $65

Not a bad deal I'd say. Question thought. The engine needs to be cold when installing this part. How long should I let my car sit? It is breezy out and I have the hood open all the way, but I did jut drive for an hour or two?? Anyone help me out. Want to put it in before the sunlight fades

Just stick your hand in there periodically and feel how hot it is

Had my first ever track day today !
My car is all stock. The first few laps I drove, while the instructor sat in the passenger seat. Then we switched and he drove it a couple laps to show me how it should be done

After that I was on my own !
It was a lot of fun, definitely the hardest I have ever driven it. I was surprised how fast I could turn some of those corners. Fun stuff !
