Who here winters their Frs/Brz? -
I can't decide if I should park it for the winter in a barn, or if i should drive it through the winter, my plans are to modify this car, including turbo, after my ride in the turbo BRZ it looks like my path is set out for me, i just want to make this car last as long as I can. What do you folks recommend having driven the car through the winter and not, I am budget oriented, and am saving for other expenses, like buying a house WITH a garage, for Cleopatra ( my frs ) - name means fathers pride and joy, it just fit so well. So, what is your take? |

I drive mine all winter, but it is in a garage, not sure I would otherwise.
if you do decide to have winter fun, get the best winter tires you can possibly afford |

Today I decided I wanted to tint my tail lights.
Epic fail. I'll get a picture tomorrow. I decided to use a can of plsti dip smoke I've had laying around for a year. I guess the can didn't have enough pressure in it and it was spraying out all blotchy. I'm glad I can just peel it. I also did the pedal dance today. I'm happy to say once you do the pedal dance our cars will do a burnout

Just got back from 1morelap. The oil wasn't an issue. The motorcycles ran all day and they had put absorb stuff to clean up the oil.
Just before we started they brought a guy and his bike off the track. He had clearly gone off since there was grass and dirt all in his tires, engine, chain and his racing suit had a very fresh looking set of road rash and grass bits. Good night at the track. My daughter had a blast and the new wheels and tires were much better. Last edited by jvincent; 09-14-2014 at 10:27 PM. |

1morelap was a blast tonight. Had the track "to myself" for a great number of laps, and really got into it. Took an enthusiastic 16 year old kid for a couple laps, who said I was a "great" driver. I didn't correct him
![]() Can't wait for MCO next Sunday. Then, time to start think about the "w" word. |
