The Dyno tune was a bit disappointing. Both Wryann and I were hoping to see a higher HP figure. No matter what he did he just couldn't squeeze any more out of it.
Stock was 163hp, with the intake spacer blocks and header and exhaust we went to 177 hp. Only a 14 hp increase.
BUT, on the road there was a big difference. 0 to 60 times dropped a full second, same with 3000 rpm 1st gear rolling to 70 mph, a full second better. And when we took Wryann's 6 speed manual out my automatic did as good as his. So overall I am very pleased. And boy do I love the sound.

So I tried to talk Wryann into going to ORP the end of the month for a track day. He gave me some excuse about going some where else. I think he's just afraid of being beat by an old fart in a automatic!

I wasn't happy with the RPF-1's so I traded them for some new Enki's.

I went with the 17x9s. I just ordered a 2nd set which will have slicks for track only.

Another thing I added a while back but forgot to mention was a Mishimoto transmission cooler. It's left of the engine oil cooler. Works like a charm. My last track days the tranny temp stayed below 225 degrees, with out the cooler fan on. The fan for the cooler seams to only help when parked.

Glad to hear about that Tranny cooler. I'm thinking of that and the Mishi oil cooler. Does it come with the fan, or is that an option I can leave off?

It came with the fan. I also went with the Mishi oil cooler. Very nice. I just moved it over from center to make room for the tranny cooler.

Did you use one of these kits here? If so, what size tube-and-fin did you go with?

I love the Green Mini!

I too have a Classic Mini! I have a 1959 Morris Mini that is swapped with a B18. Sadly it's not finished yet, but I do have a build thread, albeit a fairly incomplete one.

And on top of that, I have a Raven FRS! We're basically twins!
