Got my pressed graphite too. Good to see there are more of these now, not just the black editions.

Here is my square setup, 18x9.5+40, with 245/35/18 tires, lowered on coilovers:

Any more pics a little more angled (standing closer to the car) to see the flushness better?

Lowered how much?

Difference between TE37SL 18X9.5 +45 and +40

Hi everyone,

I just got an estimate for a set of 18X9.5 +40 TE37SL JDM version. It will be shipped directly from Japan to my front door and will be a little cheaper than +40 rims that I am looking for in the US.

+40 TE37SLs are specially for US market and Rays makes them for MACKIN Industries,Inc in the US. +45s are for Japan market. So in US, we can only get +40, and in Japan people get +45 rims.

Anyone has idea whether there will be any big difference between JDM +45 version and USDM +40 version?

1. Will +45 be lighter than +40? 0.5 lb? 1 lb?

2. Will +45 be less concave than +40? Can I see the difference by naked eye?

3. Will +45 looks less slammed than +40 if I run 245/35 rubber? Can I actually see the difference or it depends on camber? My car is NA so I am hesitating to go 255/35.

4. Difference in quality? (I dont think so).

Thank you everyone!

There will be a very slight difference. Your car will look slightly less "stanced.' Spokes will be SLIGHTLY less concave

1. weight can be close 0.2 lbs difference or even same weight.

2. Both have same concave, +45 offset goes inside by 5mm but still has very nice small tiny flush, will give room for wider tires, if you later want to have a turbo or a Supercharger.

3. quality is the same both are made in Japan, I suggest offset 45+ and save cash for tires,
get 45+ BECAUSE JDM!
