Most of us tried and fell in love with Calabogie Motorsport Park

Did anybody see the new Sonata or Elantra fall off the delivery truck on Bank, near Hunt Club?

It just slid right off the truck, into the road. Luckily, nobody was behind the truck and the car didn't really roll.

I had a good laugh.

I'd love to do a few laps around calabogie, but getting time off to do so is not going to happen until at least spring, but next year it will be a must!

Priceless! Too bad you didn't have a dash cam.

You gotta come lapping this year. Try to make Sunday the 21st. If you need to, tell your boss that you've joined the Church of Lapping Day Saints and that Sunday is a holiday for you.

Here's some pics of @Slick (pic 1, others), @pushrod (me) (pic 9, others) and @UMB FR-S at Calabogie back in June:

MCO at Calabogie with an in-car instructor and roughly 350km of track is 350$.

Raceseng Ashiko Shift Knob - $75

Also posted in classifieds

I'm selling my Raceseng Ashiko Shift Knob for $75, local pickup in Kanata. Or can also be picked up at Calabogie during lapping evenings on Sep 13, 14, and 26 and MCO track day on Sep 21.

It's a bit too big for my hand and I went back to a smaller knob.

It weighs 735 grams and really makes shifting much smoother - this stock knob is 198 grams.

Retails for $120 USD, plus $15 for a threaded adapter kit.

Note, mine came with the threaded adapter (as shown above) - Raceseng now includes a threaded lock nut as shown on the left below. I had a M12 x 1.25 thread lock nut that I reused from a previous shifter. You could get one from Ottawa Fastener Supply in Bells Corners http://www.ottawafastenersupply.com/
