Anyone check their VON with SOA recently?

Lol my dealer said the cars would be arriving by the end of March, obviously I knew they were full of crap, but dealers are all over the place with delivery dates, take it with a grain of salt.

With all the rumors some cars are on the ship and underway, anyone has called SOA today to see if any VIN information has been updated? (I know it should take days after arriving at port to update but you just never know...)

I just checked with dealer contact and all orders are still waitlisted for that dealership on Subarunet.

Checked today. The soa reps are just incredibly nice and helpful. Nice guy named chris told me im still waitlisted. He asked what place i was at my dealership amd i said number one. He said mine shoulf come late may or early june.

He said thAt all us brz orders he has seen are still waitlisted. He said that since there are nit as many brzs being produced that they are a bit alower updating the system. He said that he expects a bunch of updates in a week or two. They often delay updates until the ship reaches port, but once ww hear something it will be quick when we receive the cars

I called yesterday and I was told pretty much the same thing.

I'll just assume the situation is the same for my VON. Hopefully all the reports of boats being in port are accurate and our cars are being unloaded today to start the customs process.

This BS with the wait list is ridiculous. According to the news going on over in the Scion section, looks like most of the FR-S guys might be getting cars before we do. Either that, or else we're in for a big surprise when our dealers randomly call us up one day and say our car is ready to be picked up.

You may know this but the 1st86 are the ones talking about May deliveries at this point, at least in the US. Regular deliveries don't start until after 6/1, and no one really has any info I've seen on those.

That said, I could missed something in all the posts around this subject.

Scion has always said its cars would be going on sale in June, Subaru has said spring. I'd imagine there's some sort of agreement in place tying them to June since they're holding people's perfectly ready cars until June 1st.

No you are correct, but June 1st for all the regular deliveries is still sooner than the "WAITLIST" that all of us BRZ guys have been told.
