Finally got my backup cam fully installed. Head unit out 3 times, once to test, 2nd because I was stupid and threaded the trunk acordian before the actual trunk back. 3rd time went really fast.. conduit pull lube really kakes that trunk grommey easy to thread the connectors through.

And finally got my plates on. Backed the rear with adhesive foam stripping so it wont scratch the paint. Front is nicely held by Grimspeed kit.

I wash her about once a week and got her opti coated a few weeks ago too. Saving up for xpel film to protect her from rock chips. I highly recommend getting it opti coated if you can afford to.

At first, I washed it every 2 weeks with my microfiber mitt and TLC followed with a labored coat of wax every other wash.

Now, 8000 miles later, I occasionally just drive it through a touch-less car wash and give it a quick 20-minute spray wax at home

Wash as much as you want; just be gentle, use the right materials and wax often, and your paint will be fine (from the elements)

I'll second that. Never need to wax, car looks great after every wash.

What does opticoat typically cost? I'd prob only want hood and front bumper. Wish I did this when I first bought the car.
