You can put it on. The cel that you get is the ecu thinking your cat is broken, no big deal.

Just got my header. Quality is fantastic and I was really surprised on how well it was packed. Overall great product.

Does using a spacer at the O2 sensor prevent a cel with these headers?

Tomei was super nice about the whole deal, sent me brand new headers I'm sending the leak ones back on Monday (all paid for by them). Honestly the welds are fantastic on these headers (even the dealer/his mechanic) said so it was just difficult for them to get in the middle of it I guess

So after installing my header I discovered a leak at this joint.
I'm having the worst luck with modding this car. |

I think that sliding joint in the middle of the long runner is for engine expanding and contracting during different temp phases. And, that design seems to be not that great compared to the more common braided steel joints, considering there's already been 2 leaky instances.
Looks like I'll get the Nameless super long tube headers or JDL headers instead

Tomei EL and UEL Headers Teaser!
The leak did seem to subside a little as the motor got up to temp. It defiantly was still leaking at operating temp though. Going to contact Tomei and see what can be done. Should've went with the JDL like I originally intended. Very frustrating.

Anyone run the UEL with a stock front pipe and GReddy Evo 3 (or Invidia N1, seeing as they're pretty similar)

So basically, my question is does the Tomei UEL header make the Evo 3 much louder than with stock headers? Because it's perfect with stock headers IMO. |
