Don't feel bad..I got in a Domino effect accident last year. . Replaced both bumpers and the beams under the bumpers got crushed. I was in stopped traffic. Can't imagine if I had been moving at any real speed. 95 had nearly had me in 5 accidents in 3 months. I don't think we are easy to see.

Haha. I'm not feeling bad. I just think it's funny how us Mid-Atlantic folks get into many accidents now. I'm just happy I wasn't in it this time. I used to be so attached to the first frs, it was my life. Now I stopped getting attached to cars because they can become damaged at any point.

I love the frs and brz but I want to go a different, more economical route. Getting a cheap car would land me at least 15 grand in my pocket with a car paid off. I barely have bills as is, but it would be extremely easy for me to live if I had all that cash.

Alright now I am a bit miffed.

I called ModBargains earlier today, expecting them to just ship me a new light. The guy I talked to said he wasn't sure if the light had a warranty (it does) and wasn't sure if Modbargains could handle it (they do) or if I'd have to contact the Valenti rep and deal with them, and at any rate he said they couldn't do anything until Jurrian got back.

And then there's this...

I paid more to go with MB as opposed to less established sponsors to avoid runarounds.

Shouldn't there be an email receipt or something? Use that. Boom, problem solved and they'd send over the replacement.

Sure enough. Just found this in my PM's...

We hold the only US inventory of Valenti's, everything else from that other guy ships from overseas in Asia, so it typically takes a long time to get. If you have ANY issues, we've been given the free and clear from the manufacturer to replace the part immediately for you, because we'll send the defective set back, and get a full replacement in exchange, so we've got a good plan going on. When replaced, we replace it with a kit from our own inventory so it ships quickly.

We're pretty easy going with that stuff, ultimately we just want you guys happy so you continue buy from us, so we'll of course accommodate any issues you have with fast service.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Best Regards,
Jurrian

Other vendors are quoting a year or more, but given their lack of a real presence outside a forum vendor and paypal account, it doesn't mean much to me coming from them.

Thanks for your help.

Check out those listings if you haven't already with the lowered pricing, add in the coupon code if you haven't already, and make sure to put my name in those notes so I can process the order quickly! Between me answering this message to the last message I replied to you, we've sold 8 sets, so we not joking around with the pricing, these will sell out very very soon, likely today or early tomorrow.

Best Regards,
Jurrian
Woulda been nice to have had the ball rolling today, guess I'll wait till Monday.

The company will be paying for the damages, but I will fight tooth and nail for the depreciation value.

I'm also going to plan on selling it and getting something cheaper. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm not sure who you spoke with but if you want to send me a PM directly I can get whatever issue you're having taken care of. If it's a replacement you need, I'm the guy who will take care of that for you. We require a picture showing whatever piece isn't working properly, if it's an LED that is out for example, take a picture with the taillight on, but showing the LED not functioning. Email that to Jurrian@modbargains.com with your order# please, and I'll get a new one shipped out to you.

Not sure who you spoke with but I have been taking a lot of days off due to a medical issue I've been burdened with so I've missed a good 3 weeks of work in the last 2 months because of it, so I apologize if you haven't got the quickest service, that's my fault. Email me though, let me know how I can help out

We are actually already in correspondence via email. Sorry to hear about the medical issues, I'm sad to say I'm all too familiar. Thanks Jurrian!

Looks good. I am too affraid to spray down my engine compartment for fear of water damage.

I spent some time yesterday cleaning leaves and other things out, the area under the brake fluid tank is bad. Also had quite a time picking crap out from the windshield wiper motor area. Almost looked like something was growing foam in there. Awesome...

Another thing to watch out for is behind the driver's side front fender. Took a peek in there with the door, there are enough leaves to register it as a national forest. Easiest way to clean itappears to remove the wheel well liner. Great...

Might have to order a lot of replacement connectors from my buddy who works in parts. Car is two years old this Thursday. Time for a thorough cleaning and inspection before it gets frigid.

I would also like to change my ATF and dif fluid. Wish I could just have my dealer do it for me. Lord knows they owe me a favor after all their screw ups. I hear changing ATF is an enormous PITA.

Was taking the car into the dealer this morning to give them their fifth shot at fixing my window trim.

Car started dying as soon as I got out of my neighborhood. TC/VSC kicked back in, slip light turned out, CEL, limp mode. Felt like the thing barely had half the usual power. Transmission refused to downshift into anything above 4k. When it did downshift it rode the torque converter instead of rev matching.

Got to wait around for three hours. I am thinking of just moving in to the dealership at this rate.

"The ECM needs to be replaced" is what the service manager said. Of all the related problems I am suspecting the camshaft sensor issue. Not sure why a reflash won't do but whatever. Keeping in mind the engine was recently pulled for camshaft cover leaking.

Car is out of primary warranty by exactly one day as of today. If this is the service I have been getting in warranty, I can only imagine the quality work I'll be recieving when they know I have to pay for it.

Anyway I got this really sweet ass Camry in my driveway. Woohoo.

Anyone know how much I can get for a 13' AT with ~18000 miles?
