I will mention that at the time the work is done. Thank you for the heads up.
Any before and after pictures, and do you think it lowers it enough?

Knew you would like them. They get a lot of bad press on here because they are TRD but I am a big fan. Did you measure your drop by any chance?

I got to drive the car tonight for the first time since we had the work done....WOW, it is a completely different car. I really like the feel now, and the wife LOVES it, so that is the most important part since it is her DD.

Just had the springs installed on my BRZ today (stock shocks/struts). Rebranded Eibachs as people have mentioned, with branding on the bumpstops. Feels just like stock, ride isn't any more harsh but I'll update when I get more seat time with them. Makes me believe these are rebranded prokits if anything, but still no concrete evidence to confirm this. Initially, the drop looks perfect to me. The wheel gap is eliminated and thats about it; no childish/ghetto slammed look and no sacrifice in ride quality. Really hoping it doesn't settle much lower in a few weeks because it's perfect just as is.

Are the TRD sway bars required with the lowering springs? Also what is the average cost of installation? Oh and final questions, does the dealership have to do it for the warranty to be valid?

Anything further to report now that you've had them on longer?

Had them for nearly 2 months now, still rides great. They really haven't settled anymore than after a week. Great investment in terms of looks. Can't really tell if there's any real difference in performance. I still haven't gotten an alignment as planned...but I'm not too worried given the mild nature of the drop.

I'm sure this is probably answered somewhere within this thread, but after installing the TRD lowering springs, has anyone had their struts go out?

Also, I'm in the process of migrating over to Hawaii from SOCAL and Hawaii street regulation requires your wheel alignment to stay within stock specifications otherwise it's not a street legal car anymore. Please for a noob as myself, will the alignment(after the springs settling in) allow the car to be back at its stock specifications without any camber kits or lower control arms??
I'm assuming it will since it's just less than a -1" drop.

Appreciate your professional/experienced advice.

Thx.

To answer the second part of your question, and to mildly avoid the first part, you will have -2 camber in the back and maybe a little negative in the front. (I forgot what the instructions said, but I know my rear matched up exactly like they said it would ) So you could argue technically, since the factory manual says that you will have those alignment specs that it is ok to run that setting.

If not, you're going to need adjustable rear LCAs and crash/camber bolts for the front.
