What is the highest octane you get in the states?
The lowest in the UK is 95, the performace stuff is generally 99 and I have seen 101 in the past at several stations. |

North America and I believe Australia use a different rating system then the rest of the world so our numbers will be several points lower then yours. I have no doubt that somebody will correct me if I am wrong but I believe your 99 is probably the same as our 87 and so on up the list.

98ron = 93 octane
95ron = 91 octane It is just different way to measure the octane rating. We use AKI in North America while the rest of the world use RON. |
