I honestly don't know if I have crickets but I use Shell V-Power 91 exclusivly (other than 91-93 on road trips to the US).

Someone posted or mentioned last Friday Toyota finally has a brand new fuel pump that will replace the current one - so far replacements have been the same PN as factory so not really a solution.

Ah well, I guess I will just have to deal with it. It's more embarassing than anything else really.

Just need some exhaust parts to drown out the noise lol !!

Side note: If anyone is in the forces or affiliated with them, Petro Canada now has a partnership with the CF Appreciation program and is offering 0.03 off per litre gas cards. Makes that 94 a little easier to run.

Thought it was pretty ironic that I was driving around like a granny and got a check engine light, considering how I normally drive.

It was actually code U0155 which was triggered by a bad Bluetooth OBD adapter.

Not likely, although I miss top-down driving.

Looks pretty good though, like a bastard Miata-S2000 love child.
Any HP numbers released?

they said at the launch it will be a skyactiv G motor.
if it is the same skyactiv G 1.5 they already have, 99hp.
the current skyactiv G 2.0 is 153hp.
if they go with the skyactiv G gen2 with silly compression, 18:1, who knows!

DSG Update Please read

Okay -- so apparently all the forecasts are calling for rain (which sucks and there's no overhead protection, no one wants to sit in the rain all afternoon either).

If it rains, we're postponing to another date (looking at end of September Saturday TBD)

If it doesn't rain, meet will be from 3pm - 7pm (or later) at our offices.

Parking/meet is taking place at the parking lot behind our offices, we have a really nice spot along the water to park on the grass. We have a food truck coming so bring a bit of $ but we're supplying all the drinks. They'll be prizes, music and all that good stuff so I REALLY hope it doesn't rain.

Here's our address:

4020 rue Saint Ambroise
Montreal, QC
H4C 2C7

Our building is "Chateau Saint Ambroise" so look for the alley on the side that leads to the parking lot in the back (also in the alley, a dark truck with a man offering candy -- say yes)

I've been seeing an Ultramarine on Legget in the parking lot for big entirely-black office buildings. Looks like it has at least one sound check sticker on it too. Anybody here?

Fuck.

Starting next weekend I'm working 7 days per week. Definitely telling my boss to blow me for the DSG meet though I think. We'll see.
