I thought I was going to be able to make it for this Thursday dinner but I'm afraid I won't be. However, you can count me in for the festivities on Saturday. Should be lots of fun.

Oh, another thing. Does anyone have an OEM sunshade? Or one that fits really well? I picked one up but it is going to need some trimming to get it to really fit. (Damn monster SUVs ruining the "one size fits all")

I posted this in the Upstate SC thread, thinking I might create a new thread if there is enough interest:

My buddy and I are planning another Deals Gap/Tail Of The Dragon weekend. October 25th and 26th. Who might be interested? We'll spend the night somewhere up there and drive both days. Besides TOTD there are many other epic drives in that area and we'll plan to take advantage of all of them. Let me know if you'd be interested and I can get some details together. We're hoping to have lots of BRZ/FR-S drivers attend!

Yikes, brave man driving the 86 like that.

The rain started when I was still by briers creek, it was at rolesville by 7 so I figured it wouldn't be long before it saw you guys. Still a good turn out. Looks like some new faces showed up too, nice. Yup looking forward to Saturday, first time going to rush hour, I hear good things.

It had happened that morning, I needed my support group to keep my spirits up! Plus I figured it'd make for some funny group shots. I posted a thread in the FRS board with more pictures of the damage if you're interested.

Sorry to hear that man, really, well just a reason to get a cf hood and aftermarket goodies I guess. Not an easy sight I know. Yea ill check it out man. Best of luck getting over that nightmare.

So sorry to see that. Did the lady in the Juke have insurance to cover it? I always thought CF looked best on white; maybe there will be some good to come of this.

She did have insurance, so everything should work out in the end. My car's with a body shop that I know does good work, so it's just the time and inconvenience at this point.
