The more pics I see, the less I like it. Dynamically it should rock though.

Dat ass.
Not too crazy about the front end though. If the headlights were bigger, I think. Can't wait to see these on the road. |

What a terrible reveal. The looks are growing on me though. I just wish the mouth wasn't quite so lippy. I actually like the pics of the headlights with real lighting. They look very NB. I cant wait to test drive this thing!

The side profile is real nice, but I was disappointed with the front end. Josh Byrnes from carscoops made a so much better looking miata. They should hire him...his rendition of the miata and rx7 is truly impression. Here's the miata I was talking about and the RX series rendition... I love the RX drawing he did.

It looks really excellent in person. The interior is miles better than the 86 in terms of design and quality of materials. The headlights look really nice, all the lighting is color matched between the fogs, HIDs, and running lamps, at a 5500K-ish temp. The fogs are an LED strip in the inlets beneath the headlights, and they look a bit out of place. The rear fender arches look pretty tall in person, but they are reasonably well integrated with the lines of the body. The tails are really nice looking when lit up, very F-type inspired.
I didn't have a chance to sit in the car, but eyeballing it, it looked a decent bit more roomy than the NC. I'm 6'3" and I don't think I'd have any trouble fitting in it with the seat all the way back, but with the roof up, headroom might be a little tight. The ND has presence, I think even more than the 86. As long as the driving dynamics remain true to the essence of past generations, I think they'll have a huge hit on their hands.

To me, your Miata looks way better than the new ones. They just don't make cars like they used to...

I don't know about anyone else but I am very curious what tires they fit stock.
I can just see the posts now like it is vs other cars in comparison videos. FRS/BRZ would have won if they had same tires!

I really like it, conceptually even more than GT86, as the MX-5 is a 2 seater FMR. But again, it needs a coupé body and steroids.
