There is no way Eibach's drop would touch that if they are what they look like. ALSO, on another note...QUALITY?! I mean...was the car designed by Eibach?! lol No offense, but not a lot of aftermarket products, penny for penny would touch the actual TRD factory/aftermarket.

I had two 7th gen. Celica's years ago and both ended up with TRD Kazuma Exhausts...they were amazing, quality and an exhaust note unmatched by others.
I very much doubt it's adjustable coilovers at that price point. If it is, I'd be scared of the quality.

For TRD springs, I'm sure it's good, especially if you're paying much less. I'd do it too if it's around the same price as Eibachs.

As for quality... Eibach is top-notch in terms of quality and reputation with suspensions. So, yeah.

I've used Eibach in the past...I never said they weren't top notch, I just mentioned that TRD was a very solid product to go with, specially after using them in the past (exhausts, not springs however).

Anyhow, does the pro Eibach come with the strut/shock replacements or just the springs?

As you can see...those are CLEARLY adjustable (notches in adjuster and lock rings). Feelings on em?

I personally have no experience with the TRD suspension butbased on my experience in general with TRD and other 'OEM+' aftermarket solutions, they aren't worth it. They're usually reliable decent performing parts that look pretty good but they charge twice the price compared to parts of similar performance/quality since they can get away with it because they're affiliated with the OEM.

I mean if you're willing to fork out the extra dough for the image go for it, I probably would for more than a few things if I could afford it, but know that you aren't getting the best bang for your buck.

If by pre-order, you mean special ordering the vehicle opposed to picking one up after the dealer sits on the stock unit... Then I'd rather pre-order just so that I can have the chance to make sure the dealer doesn't wash up the exterior paint and add swirls... Also so that they don't drill the front for the plates. Limiting the miles on the ODO (from test drives) and fueling up with less than premium fuel being a reason as well. I'm very OCD, what can I say?

From my observance, the only way the dealer would discount a Scion is if it has been sitting on their lot for a while... With the exception of applying the military or college grad discount in advance upon your order, if you qualify. Feel free to correct me anyone.

I'd stick to your pre-order... Congrats, Mikey.

Thanks, your post makes me feel better about pre-ordering. I didn't even think about all that; this is my first new car I'm purchasing from a dealer.
I'm probably just as OCD.

The picture you posted are the JDM TRD coilovers. The FRS 1.0 does not come with those.

Instead, the FRS 1.0 comes with USDM TRD lowering springs, WHICH are made by Eibach.

Sorry buddy, at $30,000 it will not be enough to cover the JDM coilovers. =[

You mean it was loud way beyond measure? Lol i jad one with my ppe header... too loud... ahahha.
I had both the kazuma and the usdm trd exhaust. Both were top notch quality and i bet they would last 30 years + if cleaned occasionally.

That's what I thought as well. Most "OEM" springs out there for cars are made by Eibach.

Will the SC void warranty? I would do it in the future if it doesn't! I haven't done any research on turbos/SC yet, but I've done A LOT of other research that's important (like where to tint, where to do a hand car wash, etc.).

I'm also gonna get the TRD wheels in the future.

It's been discussed a lot here. Basically stealership will have to prove the mod caused the problem to refuse service under warranty and to me a sc kit is an easy excuse so yes I do plan to wait a few years (60 months)
