To the letter of the rules I would say that it is legal for one and not the other. We all know that it won't really do anything in performance gains on a auto-x car. But I understand why people would want to put the body work on their car such as Bill did to reduce cone scuffs, etc.

The caveat and potential problem is that you get to argue the definition of "model" with a Protest Committee. The 3-series clarification is nice, but it also only applies to the BMW 3-series. If you get a PC that disagrees with you on the series.blue then you're F'd. I think a clarification would be ruled positively, and most PC's would rule favorably, but it only takes one asshole.

The only body kit thats factory authorized from Toyota is the Factory 5 design one .. that I know of.. and its a dealer option..not something that came from Toyota.. The only caveat to that is that Toyota would have to offer it as Factory installed option, which I don't think they do :/

So, are there exact replicas (i.e. scca legal) of these around? ~1k price for some cone protection is a bit hefty.

Do we have a list of rear LCAs that are legal for STX? I want to ditch my SPCs.

What does "comply with stock" mean, in regards to the radiator? Do I have May options other than ordering an OEM piece? I sort of bent mine OEM radiator, and am curious as to my options, while remaining compliant with STX protocol.

OEM or Equivalent... Meaning an Aftermarket one that has stock specs.

One that has stock specs would be like a generic brand like Duralast, NAPA, etc., yeah? I assume that is the spirit of the rule. I just don't want to spend more on a replacement than I would on an upgraded radiator. Mine still works with no leaks. I'll just keep my eyes peeled for a used one, I guess.

Exactly.. no upgrades allowed.. meaning a Koyo or others ARE NOT allowed..

Whats the consensus on the best header+everything up to the midpipe in terms of NA gains/driveability. Would be combined with ECUTEK and a proper tune. I already have a Greddy SP Elite exhaust I got for super cheap.

I'd be impressed if there was a consensus, but interested about the topic as well.
