That was actually pretty awesome. At least you kept it out of the wall. :-)

Your "who me?" recovery reminds me of one of my cats on the rare occasion I catch them falling or otherwise looking ungraceful. Well played!

oil change interval? I have 5000 miles and 5 HPDE on my motul 300v.

Have 5 days scheduled for the rest of the year and probably will add about 3000 miles.

I change mine after every HPDE which during the season is ~once per month. Might be overkill but better for the engine.

AMB transponders run in the 400 range... as does the AIM Solo (non-DL).

Here's a good example of why wheel-to-wheel racing is best.

Back in '13 you answered S2K vs BRZ, would you still do the same?

I have two S2Ks currently and am looking to get into a bit of road course work. Unfortunately my project 04 is over built for my driving ability and my01 has 130k miles and i'd prefer to either upgrade to a new CR for a daily or a BRZ limited. Looking to get some input as you made this reference in the past!

I did a little road trip up to sportsland yamanashi this weekend, and on the slow, almost 1st gear hairpins i was getting severe understeer(hankook v12s roughly -2 camber). To get around the corners i was playing the throttle right after turn in to get the car to rotate, but i felt this was robbing alot of speed. other than car set up, such as more camber, better tires etc, what would some driving techniques be to fix this? High speed corners understeer isnt as much of an issue and im usually on throttle more. Maybe im not trail-braking properly?

Using shark throttle inputs to induce rotation is a perfectly valid technique, and I do it all the time!

Try -3 camber in the front; leave the rear alone.

Is a shark throttle part of an ECU tune, or a new piece of hardware?

Ok well other than im sure i need to refine the technique, it sounds like im on the right track. As for camber im pretty much maxed out until i can afford camber plates(running the dreaded double camber bolt setup now). I may look into slotting the upper hole in my strut when i have some more free time.

That brings up a good question for me.

Is it 'better' in this car to gain camber at the knuckles or plates? I have one crash bolt only at this point in the top knuckle holes, and I'm deciding on what path to take for more negative front camber.
