I have the same one as @Fish Eagle - so far so good!
http://www.autostyle.co.za/gps-elect...rotection.html Not a bad price - but check reviews before purchase. Also get ready to renew every 2y or so to compensate for new technologies. This is my second Cobra and I'll recommend it to anyone. |

It looks bad with all the patches, but it's fine.
![]() It's actually a super track - very technical, very safe, and a lot of fun because you're normally running with racecars. Friday was the first time I've ever seen road-legal cars on Midvaal. My average speed on Midvaal is 108kph, maximum 192 (back straight), and slowest about 70 (turn 1).

Many thanks to Fish_Eagle, and Larne for a fantastic day at Midvaal. It was my first time on the track and they never killed me
. They really showed me how exciting and balanced an 86 can be on the track.

I dont know if this goes here.
I decided I couldnt wait for the monthly super trax and decided i was gonna do some drifts on an unused piece of road. This was my reward.

The problem with boost is that it's addictive.

Yep, I think that's true for most folks - they get a taste and want more, and more...
I've been lucky - I've got two boosted cars, and I don't crave more power, not even with my 11 year old Forester. I still get a rush when I floor them. ![]() But, it's amazing what a stock or near-stock 86 can achieve when driven well. It's not all about brute force and ignorance, more about using what you've got cleverly and with finesse.

I agree 100% but when it comes to the Forester there is no finesse and then more is more.
![]() Thing is, not only does a tune provide a ton more torque and a lot more power, it also means that it's now entirely happy on our fuel. So happy engine, more power, more torque = win-win.
