I have the same one as @Fish Eagle - so far so good!

Not a bad price - but check reviews before purchase. Also get ready to renew every 2y or so to compensate for new technologies. This is my second Cobra and I'll recommend it to anyone.

It looks bad with all the patches, but it's fine.

It's actually a super track - very technical, very safe, and a lot of fun because you're normally running with racecars.
Friday was the first time I've ever seen road-legal cars on Midvaal.

My average speed on Midvaal is 108kph, maximum 192 (back straight), and slowest about 70 (turn 1).

Many thanks to Fish_Eagle, and Larne for a fantastic day at Midvaal. It was my first time on the track and they never killed me . They really showed me how exciting and balanced an 86 can be on the track.

I dont know if this goes here.
I decided I couldnt wait for the monthly super trax and decided i was gonna do some drifts on an unused piece of road.

This was my reward.

Wow

This piece of road you were drifting on - is it perhaps called the Sani Pass?

@Fish_Eagle hehe Sani's pass. No it was in jo'burg somewhere with a very very rough tar surface. (i guess thats why it was deserted)
@Die$eL this was about a month ago. Hence I did not partake in the burnouts on Saturday

The problem with boost is that it's addictive.

Yep, I think that's true for most folks - they get a taste and want more, and more...

I've been lucky - I've got two boosted cars, and I don't crave more power, not even with my 11 year old Forester.
I still get a rush when I floor them.

But, it's amazing what a stock or near-stock 86 can achieve when driven well.
It's not all about brute force and ignorance, more about using what you've got cleverly and with finesse.

I agree 100% but when it comes to the Forester there is no finesse and then more is more.

Thing is, not only does a tune provide a ton more torque and a lot more power, it also means that it's now entirely happy on our fuel. So happy engine, more power, more torque = win-win.
