FA20 DI in a BRZ/FRS

As I was trolling through the forums, I said to my wife over skype, "I hope they update the BRZ as I can't get one until I PCS in July 2015." She replied, "Of course they will, it will only get better and better." So I started to think maybe they will put a DI only FA20 in the BRZ. If it is anything like the FA20DIT like the WRX, running E85 out of the box will possible without a flex fuel kit. Also, maybe we can get a better stock tune without the torque dip and more power torque.

I just want a DI and not mated to the fuel injection hybrid system that the twins are running now.

So, you want carbon buildup? I'm confused.

You don't need a flex fuel kit to run e85 with the twins... just an e85 tune.

Toyota did this type of injection system for a reason. There are benefits of both port and direct injectors throughout the RPM range. You should buy a WRX.

You will also need to load up on these with your FA20DIT:

So in other words you want less tuning options, less power, and less torque
