Fun night.
Took back roads in with Ken and Craig, some nice twisty buts.

Too bad Ken had issues though, hopefully figure out what it is. Seems trans related since no codes stored in ecu.

Had a few fun runs with Ken, Paul and some kid who wanted a thrill ride (he got one, lol). Didn't better my time but was close, just a bit of traffic and some guys not giving point-bys.

Hope everything is OK now Ken? Thanks Andre for taking me for a spin. Forget the Sens goalies, Andre made theee best save of the year tonight. Better than wonderland that ride was. Hi-lite of the night, the young lad asking Andre for a ride and asking if it was going to be a hair raising experience. LOL IT was for sure judging by the look on his face when he got out of the car. With Andre's skills and combination of header, tires, OFT, and E85 made the car a beast on the track. In my few minutes ( 5 laps ) we passed 2 Porsche, a couple of M3's a M135i with the biggest tires I have seen on a car, and a host of other high end sports cars as if they were standing still. Loads of fun. Nice meeting Jordan (Chico) tonight and good to see Craig (Pushrod) out as well, nice job guys. !

T'was a great trip to the track overall. The drive up was nice, and I caught a lot of people checking us out as we drove by. The weather at the track was perfect, the forecasted rain was nowhere to be found, and it wasn't too hot. Got a ride in a quick Miata too.

The bad part was that I only drove for about 20-25 minutes myself. When I came in for a break and popped the hood, I found that my oil filter was leaking at the base. It hasn't leaked a drop since the oil change 1500km ago, but the track seems to have taken it past its limits. I dried it and drove home, and it's still dry now. I think I just need to replace the filter. Here I thought Mobil1 would be a good brand.

So... I got a couple dash warning lights today: Traction control and ABS and it locked me in Park (have to use the manual release button) and Cruise is locked out.
I made it home anyway and will look at it tomorrow.

It was still a fun session and @Slick took me around for a 30min session - I can't believe they are the same car the way he drives and the tune E85 and huge tires !
They had a catered dinner (sandwiches from derienzo's yum)
Got back around 9:30 will swap the 18's back on tomorrow - too late and dark now - time for bed!
@Pbrown went for a thrill-ride in Slick's car too.
@brz2013 is going to hook up his PC to my car tomorrow and clear the codes if he can. He said he had the same thing happen once - locked out cruise too.

I am not going to Hawkesbury tomorrow.

Cheers
Ken

I had this issue when my filter was not on too tight I had some blow back from the filter and my car went into limp mode. Tightened the filter and all was good after that
