Awesome... It is probably one of the best autocross events in Ontario. There aren't many around that let you do 120km/h through a slalom

Sounds like it's a smaller event too? Kind of what I'm looking for. I've been to a few CSCS events, but never run.

Ya it is quite small compared to cscs. Typically there are about 15 to 20 cars that show up so you get around 6 to 10 laps.

What does it generally cost to run ?
Annnnnd anyone know of any drifting events in this area ? Somewhere you can get instruction or just go out and try ? Been to cscs and it doesn't look like a noob friendly event lol

I believe it's $30 for the day at wosca for non members.

Typically the same days we run wosca events at centrilia they run a lapping day there too where they turn 4 or 5 runways into a track. Last time I was there a miata was drifting every corner and they didn't seem to mind. But expect to be passed a lot as it is a very fast track and the other cars that typically show up would be a lot faster

That's not bad at all,
Would the whole learning to drift there be a bad idea then ? I don't want to spin out and have someone smash into me lol

Ya probably not ideal to learn to drift. I am not a big fan of drifting myself so I am probably not the best person to ask. I am sure there are events you just have to find them!

Haha I would much rather get some great lap times and improve that way as a driver... But at the same time I'd like to learn to handle her sideways as well 😄 idn I'll keep searching

Any of you locals know a good PDR place in or near London? Took a rock to the front fender on the 401 yesterday Even though it was a glancing blow left a dent about the size of a dime. Know it is just the first of many to come but still NOT ALREADY!!!!!! A year from now I will probably just say "meh" and carry on but bugs the heck outta me every time I walk to the car right now.

We got the Fullblown kit for it. Pretty pumped to get it installed....at this point likely won't happen until I take it off the road for the winter. (which at this rate with the weather could be next week!!)
I've heard amazing things about Sam at Re-Speed....he actually just moved into the shop next to my husband! Super nice guy.

If you had any questions I know either of these guys (Sam or my hubs at Tangent Car Care) would be happy to help!

I'm not sure which turbo I'll get for mine. I'll probably just go with a kit that'll make 600HP. I'm looking for advice on who has the most reliable/ best tune with their kit.

I use my DSM as an experiment. I'd rather not do the same with the FRS.

Is there a website for this centrillia event? What time does it typically start?

www.wosca.com go to the event page, gates open at 8:30am and it's 40$ for non members. Just an autox event, but it'll still be fun, I'm trying to get in contact with the group that does the the lapping events there
