Thanks! What exactly do you mean you have to swap seats every time you want to wear a helmet? I am also roughly 6-2. I'm not really sure if it's mostly leg or torso though. I think my legs are fairly long. Really my best bet would be to try to sit in one to see exactly how much room I have.

Depends on your particular frame but a former member had purchased his car and fit with a helmet on, and he is 6'-2" and about 240 lbs. I'm 5'-11" 175 lbs and have lots of room.

Do like I did and they will probably laugh, but show up at the showroom with your helmet on. I did this before even buying the car, got a few chuckles as well as some thumbs up. Better yet, show up at our meets and check out the cars sans salesmen.

Yes! Everybody come to Hawkesbury. I might leave to go to Formula Drift though. But it's pretty cool, they block off main street

Pretty much the only way to know will be to sit in one. Where are the meets now? Doesn't seem like anyone seems to know for sure. Trainyards is like 5-10 minutes away from my place but seems like not many people like going there. (BTW Industrial is practically completely new pavement now, there's just a few places left that are unfinished.) And since M&M is no longer a meet up place I'm not sure where people go.

If there is a meet on a Friday and enough people are going I might show up one of these days to come see the cars. I saw one the other weekend in Orleans parked off of Charlemagne on Valade in a visitors parking (Red FRS with FT86club.com sticker on it.) I walked around and looked at it and my gf kept saying to get going before the owner comes and I get in trouble :P She doesn't seem to understand how people with nice cars usually love it when you look at their cars.

Wasn't my car. But I'm close to that area off 10th line near the river.

You're welcome to drop by and visit, others have done so already lol (@Dolo). PM me if interested.

Yup, great idea from Jeff.
No tumbleweeds there either... (Trainyards was like polar-opposite of M&M's)

I like this idea, seems like a good location and a much shorter drive for me.

I have a Sparco seat that I bolt in real quick on track days. I have it down to under 20 minutes.

My pants inseam is about 33" of that helps. If you're my height but with longer legs, you might be safe, depending on the contour of the roof.

I can probably make it out this Friday, and I might put the seat in before I head out, I need it for Saturday lapping anyways.

Yep, I've been out a few times, brought a coworker out last Friday but left early. I've got a stock asphalt FRS save for a FT86 Ottawa sticker, thanks @Slick. Got some LEDs and a couple of other mods on order, I'm thinking start small and go from there...
