Re:

Haven't really noticed my FRS turning heads, but more like curious and creepy stares like 1:44 of this video. Sometimes I feel more "watched" in my FRS. It's probably just my out-of-control ego, though.

Still turns head when I drive it. Usually after it's been detailed lol. Had a homeless guy ran across the street to tell me I have a cool Maserati

Funny how people don't look at the car badge and assume it's something else.

There's an Audi RS7, the FRS and a beat up rusty POS 1987 Nissan 300ZX on our driveway.

Guess what car i get asked about the most?

The 300ZX

Yup...

Every 18 year old squid driving his mom's Camry tries to race...

Lot's of inquiries...."What kind of car is that?" "Awesome..."

I'm still really enjoying this car as my DD.

Another story from the drive in the other night.
Went to get popcorn and candy and when walking back I noticed this guy slowly walking around my car. I stopped about 50 feet a way and just watched. He stood in front and looked over the whole front end. Very slowly walked around never taking his eyes off the car and took a look in the driver window. Again very slowly walked around and checked out the rear end even getting down and looking under at the exhaust. Went up the passenger side and looked at the rims and in the window again. This guys was INTENSE in his examination of the car but never so much as touched it once. After watching this for over 5 minutes I walked up and he looked at me and said "is this your car?" I said yes and he said "very cool" and walked away.
The punch line is that this guy was no more than 5 years old! Guess there is a good market for used ones down the road.

With heavily tinted side windows, other drivers can't really see me, but I can watch them at stoplights and I often see adjacent stopped drivers staring at my car.

If I have my windows open I still get drivers ask me "what kind of car is that ?" (I have only the side vent 86 symbol on the back of the trunk).

If its a moper who intends to gawk, I usually say "GT 86 boxer".
Sometimes my answer results in "who makes it ?"
My response - Toyobaru, or Subota.
Everyone usually responds "oh ok thanks".

I walk away backwards from my car until it's out of sight.

Smoke too much at work now as I go out several times and stare into parking lot! Sure it will eventually grow old and something newer and shinier will catch my eye but still in the honeymoon phase at this point.
