It appeared available for order with Russian HKS dealers. I ordered one together with the fuel upgrade kit. Expected delivery time is 2+ months. Hopefully enough time to find out what ECU flash to use (so far there is none, only custom tune).

With this setup you ABSOLUTELY need a custom tune, at a shop with a pro who knwos his magic, and please stay away from whoever will pretend he can manage this with "E-tunes"; this is absolute BS !!

Further more, you better have a sports CAT, or no CAT at all or you will loose a lot of power or / and , blow your stock cat very soon.

Thanks. Yep, of course it will have to be a custom tune. Moreover there is at least one such SC already installed and running in Moscow. Planning to see the owner ask questions. There problem that there are very few GT86/BRZ here and tuners simply can't have deep knowledge and experience with FA20 - so you can hardly expect true "magic"

I have full exhaust with the only cat being Magnaflow in my Motiv frontpipe. It should work well I believe.

Not bad. The I/C kit is basically an upgrade kit for existing owners of V1 supercharger. The I/C kit has all the brackets, piping, and larger intercooler to convert the kit to V2.

My HKS dealer reverted saying that the units will not be available till October at least

We have tuned a few SC kits for the FA20 motor now all with ECUTEK software;

The HKS Version 2 kit is a definite upgraded over the Version 1 kit , both kits dont hit as hard at lower RPM levels than the Sprintex kit (Innovate).

But the HKS version 2 kit makes 260 hub bhp easily;


Both the HKS and Innovate kits have space in the tuning world side by side, we are just waiting for our Treadstone Turbo kit to be shipped so soon we will have the ability to compare all the kits on our in house dyno.

I was told it would be out in August the last time I went to the shop.
