hey question, does anyone else get really creepy people saying hi on the road, about 2 weeks ago there was a period of time probably about 2-3 weeks long where I was getting really creepy people at almost every stop light, I live in northern NJ, there's a ton of lights around here. During that time I would drive with my windows up because it was so strange, I didn't notice it until several friends of mine continued to point it out...

I was driving into the parking lot of a popular milk tea place here and there was a bunch of cute asian girls standing with their guy friend by his wrx sti. they all started to stare at the car (hopefully me too) while i was pulling into a parking stall.

the guy gave me a glare as i got out of the car.

-Maybe 2 days after I got the car I spent a half hour talking to a guy who parked beside me about the car, he loved it,
-bunch of times kids on the street (12-15 probly?) scream out how cool it looks, i just wave,
-can overhear people talking about the car in at stoplights (is it an frs or brz?) from time to time
-just this weekend some drunk guys around my age trying to roll their chevrolet cruze over in a tim hortons parking lot (they were hammmmered, besides the driver who wanted to race for ownerships lol) went on about how sick it was, and insisted i light up the tires when i left, so burnout, then drift back out onto the road to amuse them
-and can hear the girls at tim hortons drive thru talkin about the car on my way to work, (place is under construction though, and their trailer is up so high i cant actually see which girl is saying what.. all i see is my coffee get passed down to me lmfao)

overall only good experiences, no ones had anything bad to say about it yet, that ive heard anyways lol

was waiting outside dominos for some pizzas and a guy on a motorcycle came to pick up food and was checkin out the car, complimented it and we agreed its all about the smile miles.

So I did a 1500 mile road trip this long weekend to visit my cousin in Washington DC. Everywhere I go people stared at my car. The truth is I have not seen any other 86's the whole trip. On my way to New Jersey after, at a gas station, I saw two attendants talking about my car. When I went inside to pay the said "Is that a Subaru prototype?" Given I had painters tape taped all over my hood, I can see why they think it's a prototype.

Another incident when on my way back to Michigan. At the rest area, a volkswagen Polo parked next to me. I saw two guys looking at my car carefully.

On the Ohio turn pike, couple of gas attendants was staring at it.

I never gotten this much attention in my home town. It was like a Ferrari status.

I was parked at the gas station and decided to get a red bull. As I was walking out I heard a group of city workers talking about the my car. One was like, they make Scion's that look like that? Then the inevitable question, is it fast? when people ask me I say yeah, in corners.

Parked at a local coffee shop this morning with my gf, a Volvo SUV stopped to let us cross in the parking lot, after we crossed the driver of the Volvo yells "Nice Subaru!". I waved to the guy and smiled at my gf because she hates how 'flashy' my car is.

At a gas station I fill up at I've gotten comments from two different 'fuel transfer technicians' basically that it's their favorite car etc.

One time one of the guys put in 89 instead of 93 and he was like "I'm so dumb how could I do that to a Subaru"

Last week,

-Cops stopped me after an stop and said: hey do you love your car? Are you satisfied?

-Me, yes.

-Cops, I have the same and I love it also, he grip very well on the tarmac. Do you have some mods?

-Me, Mmm yes suspensions...

-Cops, yes you look a little bit lowered...ok you can go now.
