Looks cool but have never seen it. It's a good sign when a company constantly improves upon an already good product based on customer feedback.

Good info, I hope my old style downpipe combo doesn't get too bad when my new header shows up here in a couple weeks. I wonder if they'd sell just the different resonator.

Apparently they haven't had time to update there website with pictures of the new design. Looking forward to getting the new one in and being done with the exhaust portion of my build.

Half the people I talked to that had this issue didn't even mind it. Personally for me it ruined the EL exhaust note. Having put the stock downpipe and overpipe back in has definitely reduced performance. The car doesn't rev as quick and doesn't seem to run as smooth.

Do you know, is this only available with the 2.5" or is it available with the 3" as well?

The 3" has a different type of resonator.

(Its twice as loud in person)

OFT Stage 2 EL E85 V2.3
Nameless EL Header
Nameless mid/over with Helmholtz Resonator
Perrin 2.5 Resonated Cat Back
K&N drop in filter
THIS. THIS IS THE DAMN NOISE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT.
Lol I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what it is. So annoying.
OFH and Downpipe with helmholtz is what I've got. I emailed nameless and they told me it was an issue with the resonator and I'd have to ship it back to them and have it replaced.

Not too pleased about this.

Tell me about it, I must of had my car on jacks 6-8 times in one week re positioning and trying different combinations.

I'm just happy things are back on track. I would rather go with the company that omits their mistakes and redesigns their product accordingly. Shit happens.

I'm just glad I finally found someone else who knows what noise I was hearing!!! lol
I was driving around with my mechanic for about 20 minutes saying "There! there! did you hear it there!?" "There it is!" "Just listen, there!"

and hes like "Nah, sorry, I dont hear anything? Everything fit proper.."

How did nameless resolve the issue for you? I'm in contact with them now just want to see if they replaced it with the new helmholtz resonator and sent it back? Or just sent you a new one and you sent the old one back? Or replaced the tin can on your purchased one? Lol

I purchased mine from the forum second hand, so I just ordered a new one direct from Nameless.

Hmm I definitely get that sound too with the front/over pipe and axle back (no header yet). It's not as loud, happens for a shorter rpm band, and usually only happens when its cold and I'm flooring it.

lemme know if the problem is resolved. I already have a slight amount of VVT "rasp" with OFT (especially uphill) paired with a catback, and would like to know if the new design works before spending 600$

I'll let you know when I get it.. IF I get it. Lol they havent gotten back to me since I asked if they would be replacing the tin can or replacing it with the new design helmholtz.
Besides all that, I still have to ship it back down and get it back. So could be a couple months! ugh
